Sean K. Elavia graduated magna cum laude from Loyola University in 2005 where he studied philosophy and business administration with a concentration on accounting and economics. In 2004 he was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, a national honor society for business students and Phi Sigma Tau, a national honor society for philosophy students. In 2008 he earned his law degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Maryland School of Law. Upon graduation, he worked in a Metropolitan/D.C. area tax boutique firm where he focused exclusively on federal and state tax controversy. Since joining Levin & Gann, P.A., Mr. Elavia has devoted his time to structuring business transactions, corporate law, estate planning, tax controversy and international, federal and state taxation. In his practice areas, Mr. Elavia combines his business and tax controversy background to offer solutions and strategies for achieving desired goals with the most beneficial tax consequences.
