Levin & Gann, P.A.'s representation of businesses and professionals is built on its effort to address each client's problems premised on an active knowledge of that client's business or profession and the changing regulatory, business and tax environment. Andrew R. Sandler leads a group of specialists, which includes Stanford G. Gann, Sr., Sidney Weiman and Mayer E. Guttman, in the many and complex aspects of the laws of corporations, limited liability entities and taxation.

In many situations, the Firm becomes part of the "senior management" team. The Firm is actively involved in the negotiation and documentation of all aspects of business transactions, including purchases and sales of business, employment agreements, lease negotiations, franchising and lender financing and restructuring. Mergers and acquisitions also represent an area of the law in which the Corporate and Business Law Department has particularly distinguished itself.

Many of the Firm's corporate and business law clients are health care related enterprises and the Firm counsels these clients on the formation of new health care structures, including ambulatory surgery centers and managed care entities, grievance procedures and third party provider contracts from both the entity and the provider position.

In business succession planning, Levin & Gann, P.A. has taken the lead in working with clients to insure a smooth transition to family members, when possible, or the making of other arrangements, including sales to third parties to maximize the value of the company to the client and the client's family.
