The land use, zoning and administrative practice of Levin & Gann , PA. is directed under the Chairmanship of Howard L. Alderman, Jr. Mr. Alderman ensures the complete representation of clients in all matters involving, development, building and zoning. Virtually every plan for the use or change of use of land and its improvement requires the expertise of a land use attorney. The Firm has a well-deserved reputation in representing successful and sophisticated developers of land, including commercial and residential builders, in the political subdivisions that make up the Baltimore Metropolitan Area with regard to every phase of the zoning, development and construction process. The cross-relationship with our other departments provides clients with the complete representation needed to acquire, develop and manage their land and governmental licenses.

This practice includes representation in negotiations with local and state governmental agencies, representation before planning boards, zoning boards and commis­sioners, Boards of Appeal, trial and appellate courts.

Private homeowners, commercial tenants and owners alike utilize the Firm's expertise in obtaining the various approvals needed including zoning, environmental, building and other regulatory permits.
