Sidney Weiman has been practicing law since 1963 primarily in the areas of federal taxation, business law, real estate and estate planning. He received a B.S. degree in accounting and a law degree from the University of Baltimore . He also holds a CPA certificate. Prior to entering private practice in 1963, Mr. Weiman was employed by the U.S. Treasury, Internal Revenue Service for a three year-period. He has been involved in many complicated business and tax matters for various business entities and individuals. In recent years, Mr. Weiman's primary practice has been representing real estate developers in the acquisition, development and sale of commercial and residential properties. He has represented many commercial developers in their leasing activities. Further, Mr. Weiman has extensive experience as a trustee in the management and operation of a major commercial real estate trust. He presently heads the Firm's Real Estate Department.
