Ms. Cook joined Levin Gann PA in 2023.  Her practice includes estate planning, probate, litigation involving estate controversies, trust administration, guardianships, elder law, and tax preparation.  She advises clients on the estate planning techniques best suited to their individual needs. In addition to drafting Last Wills and Testaments, Revocable Trusts, Financial Powers of Attorney, and Advance Medical Directives, Ms. Cook has established life insurance trusts, personal residence trusts, trusts for retirement plan benefits, dynasty trusts, charitable lead and annuity trusts, grantor retained annuity trusts, special needs trusts and family limited partnerships.

Ms. Cook graduated summa cum laude from Loyola College in 1985 where she received a BA in political science and was awarded the Presidential Medal.   While at Loyola, Ms. Cook was a member of Eta Sigma Phi, an honor society for Latin.   In 1988, she earned her law degree, with honors, from the University of Maryland at Baltimore.  Upon graduation, she began a general practice and soon turned to a focus on estate and trust planning and administration. 

She is admitted to practice in the State of Maryland (1988), District of Columbia (1997), and the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.  She is a member of the Baltimore Estate Planning Council, Maryland State Bar Association –  Estate and Gift Tax Section, District of Columbia Bar Association, and the Baltimore City Bar Association where Ms. Cook is currently serving as Co-Chair of the Estates and Trusts Committee.  She is a 2023 Maryland Super Lawyers®, Estate and Probate and is AV® Preeminent Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell.

Ms. Cook was born in Baltimore, Maryland and still lives in Hampden in her childhood home.  She currently serves at Secretary for the Hampden Community Council, Inc., President of the Baltimore Ski Club, Inc., board member of the Sea Dunes Homeowners’ Association, Inc., and a member of Ravens Roost #117.  She loves animals and previously volunteered at the Humane Society for Baltimore County where she served on the Black Tie and Tails Committee, and at the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore where she was awarded the annual volunteer leadership award.
