Brett Turlington graduated from the Honors College at the University of Maryland, College Park in 2015 with a double degree in Finance (B.S.) and Economics (B.A). Brett obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law in 2018, graduating magna cum laude and Order of the Coif. In law school, he served as both a staff editor and the managing editor of the Maryland Law Review and was awarded first place in the school’s annual case note “Write-on” competition. Brett was a semifinalist in the Morris Brown Myerowitz Moot Court Competition, a member of the Moot Court Board, and was certified as a mediator in the Maryland District Courts under Md. Rule 17-304 through his work in the Mediation Clinic. At graduation, he received a William P. Cunningham Award for exceptional achievements and service to the law school.

Following graduation, Brett served as a law clerk to the Honorable Kevin R. Huennekens of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. He was admitted to the Delaware Bar in 2019 and is a member of both the American Bar Association and the Delaware State Bar Association. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Delaware. Prior to joining Levin Gann P A in 2021, Brett was an associate in the bankruptcy and restructuring group of Morris, Nichols, Arsht & Tunnell LLP. He now focuses his practice in Business and Corporate Law, Real Estate Law, and Estate Planning.

In his spare time, Brett enjoys spending time with his wife and dog, reading, exercising, and rooting for the Ravens, the Orioles, and the University of Maryland sports teams.
